My Everyday Make Up Routine... ♡

Hello!
Welcome back to my blog, today i'm going to be sharing with you my everyday make up routine.
What products i use on my face to get the look below, what brushes i use and how i apply my makeup on a daily basis. Feel free to share in the comments below what products you use on your face everyday! Hope you enjoy :)

STEP 1: PRIMING THE SKIN

First i apply my primer which is The Body Shop "All In One Instablur Primer". This is a dry gel like formula which i put all over my face to create a base for my makeup so it apply's better and also to make my makeup last longer. It's such a great product & does exactly what it says! I take about a size of a 5p of the product and apply all over. The only down side is that the packaging in white and gets mega dirty in my make up bag :( (£14.00) http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/make-up/face/all-in-one-instablur-universal.aspx

STEP 2: CREATING A FLAWLESS BASE

Then i apply my foundation with the Sigma F82 Brush or Real Techniques Buffing Brush. My foundation at the moment is the Mac Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in the shade NC15. I have been using this for a few months, but sometimes i find it tends to look a bit cakey, so i spoke to one of the make up artists in Space NK and she reccomended Mac "Strobe Cream" so i have just purchased it & will give it a go and i'm sure i will pop up a review! It doesn't look cakey all the time so i am wondering if its to do with the condition my skin is in at the time but it is a really good foundation, easy to apply & great coverage. After i have used this up, i'm going to move onto the Nars Sheer Glow foundation as i have heard fab things about it and i'm always wanting to try new foundations until i'm 100% happy. (£21,50) http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/shaded/158/1231/Products/Face/Foundation/Studio-Fix-Fluid-SPF-15/index.tmpl

STEP 3: PRIME THOSE LIDS

The next thing i do in my routine is prime my eyelids with the Urban Decay "Eyeshadow Primer Potion". This stuff is AMAZING. Literally makes my eyeshadow stay put for the whole day, if i go out at 9am and come back at 9pm its still on, looking as good as it did when i left the house. It creates such a smooth base for the eyeshadow aswell and i can't praise it enough. Also, you only have to use such a small amount so it will last for ages! (£16.00) http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_123932101999_-1

STEP 4: BROWS

Then whilst the primer is setting in on my eyes, i take my eyebrow brush/comb from Peggy Sue (i had never heard of this brand before i went to the professional beauty show a few weeks ago and its really good for the price) and use this to brush my brows through and in place, ready to apply my brow product. (£2.00) http://www.peggysage.com/en/make-up-brushes/135130

Then i use the Benefit "Brow Zings" brow set  (£24.50) in the shade Light. I use the waxy formula first and start at the end of my eyebrows, gradually get to the middle and then use my hand lightly to apply it through the start of my eyebrows, so they look more natural at the beginning of the brows and get darker and more defined from the middle to the end. I then use the powder shade to set the wax formula in place and give them a nice finish! I really love this brow kit, as my eyebrows are not defined at all without any product and this gives them so much life (is that even possible for brows? lols) It also comes with little mini brushes which are good for on the go but i don't actually use them because they're tiny! Although its pricey for a brow product, it lasts ages!! I do my brows using the Zoeva Wing Liner Brush 317 (£5.95) P.S i'm so aware my eyebrows are due for a good ol wax!!  https://www.love-makeup.co.uk/zoeva-wing-liner-brush-p-5713.html & https://www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk/product/view/brow-zings

Then the last stage of my brows is to highlight the brow bone using the shade "Foxy" from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette and i use the Real Techniques "Deluxe Crease Brush" (only comes as part of the eye starter set £20.99) to do this. I find this makes SUCH a difference to my brows, it instantly lifts them and gives them more of an arch, which seems crazy for a bit of eyeshadow. http://www.superdrug.com/Real-Techniques/Real-Techniques-Eye-Starter-Set/p/939658#.VPyo8_msU9E & http://www.urbandecay.co.uk/naked/naked-palettes/naked2

STEP 5: THE EYES

Once i have done my brows, i move onto the eyes. On a daily basis i like to use the shade "YDK" from the Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay all over my lid using the Real Techniques "Eyeshadow Brush". I take some of this on my brush and tap the excess off on the edge of the palette, so i don't get any fall out.

I do this to both eyes and then take my Peggy Sage "Blending Brush" £2.00 (i'm using this temporally as i've lost my Zoeva Luxe Soft Crease Brush which i use for blending :( so i have gotta order a new one... but that one is the BEST). £6.95 http://www.beautybay.com/accessories/zoeva/227softdefinerbrush/

After doing this to both eyes, i then take the shade "Busted" also from the Naked 2 Palette and apply this directly into my crease, doing side to side motions using the Zoeva "Petite Crease Brush 231" (£6.95) I do this to both eyes and then take my Blending Brush again and blend it all out evenly but without blending loads and losing the darkness of the crease colour, just blending until it all looks even.  http://www.beautybay.com/accessories/zoeva/231luxepetitcreasebrush?utm_source=google%2Bshopping&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=shopping%2Bfeed&selectedSku=ZOEV0034F&ctyid=gb&mkwid=PtxSAhHU_dc&pcrid=61879692015&gclid=Cj0KEQjwifWnBRCB5PT57KSVw-kBEiQASV7aRLj6R9B0Wm2AZAvxIy89x1i5P_qlu3I9JbjWaO54i-0aApz18P8HAQ

Then i take the shade "Half Baked" from the Naked 2 Palette aswell, and use a clean Real Techniques eyeshadow brush and dab the colour onto the beginning of my eyelid and inner corner to add a more lighter colour to the corner and brighten up the eyes more. This colour is a beautiful, bright, shimmery gold and looks amazing on the eyes. Once i have applied 2 coats of that onto the beginning of my lid, i blend it out with the blending brush again (a whole lotta blending). http://www.superdrug.com/Real-Techniques/Real-Techniques-Eye-Starter-Set/p/939658#.VP34dfmsU9E

STEP 6: CONCEAL

Then i conceal and highlight under my eyes (in a triangle shape), the bridge of my nose, bit on my forehead, my cupids bow, and any blemishes i have. I do this by using my Nars "Radiant Creamy Concealer" with the applicator, in the shade "Vanilla". This is a recent purchase for me and i'm in LOVE. It's incredible. (£22.00) I blend all this concealer in using the Real Techniques "Contour Brush".  £5.99) http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Nars+Cosmetics+Radiant+Creamy+Concealer/182807845,default,pd.html&$$ja=cgid:8743384795%7Ctsid:44970%7Ccid:176540275%7Clid:82087359475%7Cnw:g%7Ccrid:48803415235%7Crnd:1764000120508759706%7Cdvc:c%7Cadp:1o2%7Cmt:%7Cbku:1 & http://www.boots.com/en/Real-Techniques-Core-Collection-1403_1252038/

STEP 7: FINISH THOSE EYES

Then to finish off my eyes after concealing underneath,  i use the shade "Busted" from Naked 2 Palette which i used in my crease, and apply it under my eye, right below the lid. I apply it all along but leave out the corner & part of the beginning of the bottom eye lid. I do this using the Real Techniques "Eyebrow Brush".

I then take the shade "Half Baked" which i previously used on the corner and beginning of the lid, and use it on the corner of the bottom lid and beginning of bottom lid to join up to where i started Busted. I also do this using the same brush (Angled Eyebrow Brush).

STEP 7: VOLUMISE THOSE LASHES

To finish of the eyes, i use the L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara on the tops and bottoms of my lids, i am loving this mascara at the moment because it adds so much volume & length to the lashes without clumping and is a really good drugstore mascara. The 2 mascara's on the top of my list to try out are Roller Lash by Benefit & Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara! £8.99 http://www.superdrug.com/L%27Oreal-Miss-Manga/L%27Oreal-Miss-Manga-Mascara-Black/p/837857#.VP36Q_msU9E

STEP 8: POWDER TIME

After i have completed my eyes, i powder the t zone of my face (the nose and the forehead) as this is where i normally get oily and also i apply it under my eyes to set my concealer. I use Mac Studio Fix Powder in the shade NW13 and i use the Real Techniques Powder Brush to apply this. I only apply the smallest bit of powder as i want a nice dewy look, and not too matte or over powdered. £21.50 & £12.99

STEP 9: CONTOUR THOSE CHEEEEEKS

Then the next step is my fave part of all! This is where i contour my cheeks and add some glow to my face. I use the Nars Bronzer in the shade Laguna and its incredible. I got it for christmas and now i don't know what i would do without it. I use the Real Techniques Blusher Brush and apply some to the hollows of my cheeks, up to my temples, on the sides of my nose and on my jaw line too. I feel like this just completes the look & adds so much more life and shape to the face. I add bronzer until i am happy with the amount and take my powder brush and just slightly blend it into my face so it's not an obvious line. (blending is literally one of the top key things ever in make up). £27.50 & £9.99

STEP 9: BLUSH

Now i'm not really a blusher kinda girl, i prefer the bronzed look but i find it makes my skin look so much more glowy and healthy when i do apply it and at the moment i'm loving the NYX blush in the shade Borgeious Pig  and i just apply a small amount of these with the same blusher brush used for my bronzer, and just sweep it along the apples of my cheeks.

STEP 10: LIPS

My 2nd to last step of my makeup routine, is the lips!
I always wear a lipgloss on a daily basis and at the moment i have been loving the combo of the Nars lipgloss in Dolce Vita £19.50 and the NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss in La La £4.50. It's a nudey/pink lip and perfect for everyday wear too! http://www.nyxcosmetics.co.uk/lips/gloss?product_id=112 & http://narscosmetics.co.uk/en_GB/lip-gloss/999NAC0000003.html?dwvar_999NAC0000003_color=7845056003#start=1

STEP 11 & MY FINAL STEP (PHEWW)

My last step is to set all my makeup in place and i do that using Mac Fix+, i spray it all over and then fan it dry with a small mirror or you can use a book etc and then i'm good to go! This makes me makeup last longer and not budge during the day! It's amazing. £15.50 http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/177/32212/Products/Skincare/Fixers/Prep-Prime-Fix/index.tmpl

AND...

That is finally everything that goes on my face on a daily basis, for some people it may seem like a lot but that's what i like to wear & i will add a winged liner if i am going out on the weekend or going to an event or party to give extra detail to my eyes. I hope you all enjoyed reading about what the contents of my face are and what products i love to use daily. Be sure to let me know in the comments what you use on daily basis, i'll be really interested as i love discovering new make up.

Thankyou for getting this far, if you did! It's a long one today and it took me SO long to edit it all and take the photographs but i've enjoyed it so much! See you on Sunday with my "Relaxing Pamper Evening Routine".
