Top 10 favourite things to do in London | PART ONE ... ♡

Hello Everyone!

Welcome back to my blog, i hope you're all having a lovely sunday.
Today i'm going to be talking about my favourite place to go and that is, London! London Liverpool Street is literally a 40 minute train journey for me so it's easy for me to get to and i absolutely love it as there is so much to explore and do & i find it so interesting and great for taking photos and spending time with family and friends. I'm going to be telling you my top 10 favourite things to do in London & telling you all about them! Also i am aware there are so many places i haven't been to/discovered yet in London but i'm just showing you where i have been so far :) I didn't want this blog post to become really long and boring as i have a lot to talk about so i'm doing two parts for it! The next part will be up next Sunday but for now here's Part One! I hope you enjoy and comment below where your favourite places to go are x

1. SHOPPING

One of my favourite things to do in London is shop! It's the best place for shopping as you have Oxford St, Regent St, Westfield (Shepards Bush and Stratford), Camden Market, Carnarby Street etc... I could go on! I absoloutely love Oxford St so much because it has the biggest Topshop ever & the Urban Outfitters there is amazing. They have such a variety of shops including Primark, New Look, River Island, HMV, American Apparel, Disney, Forever 21, Selfridges, Schuh, The Body Shop, Boots and basically everything. You can check what other shops Oxford St also has on this website here > http://oxfordstreet.co.uk/shopping/
Oxford St is probably the main shopping attraction in London and that comes with a disadvantage! I went to London for my birthday in December (just after christmas and before new year) and i cannot tell you how packed it was. I qued in Urban Outfitters for at least 45 minutes, the Oxford St tube station was shut because so many people were trying to get in & it was cray cray but i picked up everything i wanted so thats the most important haha! but it does get hella busy on Oxford St, although it is amazing for shopping. However i would not go there if you don't like massive crowds of people or pushing lol.  Oxford St is also so central to everything as well so it's great if you are being a tourist for the day as it's near Hyde Park and Regent Street too. As Oxford St is near Regent Street to, you have to make a visit to Hamley's (mahoooosive toy store) and it always makes you want to be a kid going in there! I'm super excited because it's coming to Lakeside Shopping Centre soon! Westfield Stratford City is also great for shopping and it's only a 35 minute train journey for me and also on the central line, so it's easy to get to without dealing with the rush of central london. Westfield is an inside shopping centre with 3 floors including all the shops you could want (mac, topshop, john lewis, river island, victorias secret etc) restaurants, bowling and a cinema too. http://uk.westfield.com/stratfordcity/. You also have Westfield White City, i've only ever been to this once and that was for a Meet & Greet with Rita Ora, so i never actually got the chance to look around but i know it's a bit more up market than the Stratford one and includes a higher end of shops but also has the same shops as stratford. http://uk.westfield.com/london/. Camden is great for buying cheap clothes, as it has lots of different stalls across the market which are also cheap and you can find some really quirky and beautiful stuff there too! http://www.camdenmarket.com/ And finally, Carnaby Street is just off of Oxford Street and this has some great shops and it's only small so if you don't want to go somewhere where there is loads of shops that you don't know where to go, this is great. It's also really pretty too and always has a banner going across the street with a british flag, saying Carnaby Street (major instagram opportunity there). They have an Office, Benefit, Boots, Muji, Mac, Monki and loads more! http://www.carnaby.co.uk/

2. FOOD

There are so many food places in London and i have so many more to discover but my favourites are The Breakfast Club and Cereal Killer Café. I have been to The Breakfast Club in Hoxton and London Bridge and the food is incredible & the layout of both the restaurants is so cute and quirky. There are 6 Breakfast Clubs in London and i really want to go to every one because the London Bridge and Hoxton ones are completely different, so i want to see how they all differ and they're also in different parts of London which is fab. They do the best pancakes ever, the lushest breakfasts & they also do lunch type things including salads, nachos, sandwiches, burgers etc. It's a must in London and i love visiting it because the food is so tasty ,the service is really good in there and it's not too pricey either.  http://www.thebreakfastclubcafes.com/brunch/ My other favourite food place is the Cereal Killer Café on Brick Lane. I recently did a post about my trip to London around a month ago where i first visited it. It's amazing and so quirky & retro in there and i absolutely love it! I can't wait to visit it again as there is SO much to choose from and it's really well priced too. You can choose from any cereal you want, any flavoured milk and any topping you want! It's literally heaven. They also play the best tunes ever in there which is a bonus bc why not jam whilst eating cereal ayyyyyyy. http://cerealkillercafe.co.uk/ My top list of places to visit next are the My Old Dutch and Greenberry Café.

3. SOUTHBANK

The southbank is probably the place i have visited most in London because i visit the ITV Studios when i go to meet a celeb or be in the audience for a show (my main hobbie hahaa i'm sad). The South Bank is so beautiful and in the summer it's even better. Over Christmas they also have a cute market type thing but rather than stalls, they're all in little huts and it looks so festive and cute. I love just getting off at Waterloo station and having a stroll across the south bank, past the London Eye & down towards the London Studios and then walking back and coming past the dungeons, the aquarium & then up to Big Ben. You can always take such beautiful pictures a long the South Bank and there is street entertainers a long there ALL the time which i love because it makes you stop and watch whilst you're walking and they get everyone involved. There are singers, people dressed up, stunt men and dancers that perform there and it always varies. If you want a family day out you can visit the London Eye, Dungeons and the Aquarium and they are all next to each other so you haven't got to worry about travelling on different tube lines and stops etc.  I'm planning on going to the London Eye & Dungeons this year as i've never been to the dungeons and it looks sick! but i also want to do the London Eye again as i haven't been for years and years!

4. BOAT RIDE

In May 2014, i went to see Little Mix at the 02 (i had no shame being 16 & going to see them bc their Salute album is so good haha). I some how came across the company Thames Clippers who do Boat Rides to to the 02, especially for concerts happening. I spoke to my mum and we both decided we would love to do one! So we booked it in advance and i think it was only around £7 each (we only got the boat there), we got the tube to Waterloo and hopped on there. We went past Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf and then came into Greenwhich where The 02 Arena is. It was also a beautiful sunny day which made it even better. I would love to do it again when i've next got an event coming up at the 02 and it just makes travelling to the 02 a bit more different! It's great if you're going to a gig during the hot weather as otherwise it would be very very cold! It's such a great thing to do in the summer with your family because it's not expensive and it's beautiful to experience the sights whilst going a long the thames, it makes walking a long the south bank a little bit different. You can also sit outside or inside and we chose to sit outside right by the back and it was beautiful. You can also buy food/drink/alcohol on the boat as well! I am sure you can  book normal boat rides too, not just ones that go specifically to the 02 so if you aren't a fan of gigs then you can still have beautiful boat ride! http://www.thamesclippers.com/

5. SIGHTSEEING BUS TOUR

If you're ever in London you have probably seen a sightseeing bus around somewhere! I always see them around and for my birthday i went on an Afternoon Tea Bus Tour and it was one of the best things i've ever experienced. We got to the pick up point which was at Trafalguar Square and it took us all along Knightsbridge, Kensington, The London Eye, Big Ben, Hyde Park, Notting Hill, Marble Arch, Buckingham Palace and Picadilly Circus. It was absoloutely amazing as i had never been on a sightseeing bus before and it was an afternoon tea one which is my idea of perfection! So we had a huge stand of sandwiches and cakes with an orange juice and a hot drink too! Everything was stuck to the table so nothing went flying thank god haha! We sat at the top of the bus and the front row, we had such an incredible view and i loved every minute of it as i had never experienced London from such a high view before. The company who do the Afternoon Tea Tour, have a bakery in Covent Garden called BB Bakery and my mum has visited there and she said it is so good, so i would love to visit there. It is an expensive treat though as i did it for my birthday December last year, but it's so worth every penny. The staff are also so so lovely and the food was indescribable *love struck emoji*. http://www.bbbakery.co.uk/afternoon-tea/afternoon-tea-bus-tour/
