Meeting Sam Smith in London | ♥

Hello Everyone!

Welcome back to my blog... today's post is a recent trip to London on 16th September to meet Sam Smith (aaaaaaaaaah) in London so grab a hot drink and have a read! I hope you enjoy...

So BBC Radio 1 have thing in September of every year called "Even More Music Month" where an artist/band comes in everyday to the live lounge to perform one of their songs and a cover. Sam Smith & Disclosure were in the live lounge on Wed 16th September & i've wanted to meet Sam Smith for SO long that i literally could not miss this opportunity, especially as it's my day off college (it was meant to be lol). I basically went to the studio that they film it at, they normally film at the BBC Radio 1 Studios in Central London but because Disclosure had a lot of stuff to use in the live lounge, they could only fit it in Maida Vale. BBC Maida Vale studios are still part of Radio 1 & BBC but they use it more for bigger spaces needed for live lounge and also Annie Mac's sessions of an evening as well. They used to do all Live Lounges at Maida Vale until it changed to BBC Radio 1 in Central. So i headed off to the Maida Vale studios near Warwick Avenue area >>>> which was such a beautiful place.

So i got the studios, there was a few paps and about 20 people there. They then put some barriers for us all to stand behind but it was chucking down with rain so i wasn't feel very positive that he was going to stop because of the rain. He came out and stopped for absoloutely everyone, he said to us "thankyou so much for waiting in this weather guys" which was really sweet of him. He was SO nice to everyone, he signed and took photographs with everyone. He also looked so different, i can't believe how much weight he has lost but he looks amazing!

So i got a selfie with him which he took on my phone and i'm not gonna lie, i am SO happy with my photo. #goals Also his facial hair is on point. I AM ON CLOUD 9 RIGHT NOW ♥

HE'S SO BEAUTIFUL WHAT THE

We waited for Disclosure after Sam as i wanted to see them too but they were taking so so long so in the end i just went to Starbucks & then made my way home... I also took a couple of photos on my way back to the station that i will post below, it was so beautiful around the Maida Vale area.

I hope you enjoyed my blog post about me meeting the incredible Sam Smith! Tell me who you would love to meet one day ♥ I will see you next time with another blog post...

5 Seconds Of Summer ROWYSO Tour Weekend at Wembley ♡

Hello & Welcome back to my blog...

I haven't posted on my blog for absolutely ages because i started to get really busy and struggled to find time to sit down for a couple of hours and write a blog post when i needed to be doing other important stuff and then i sort of lost the motivation to start back up again but i'm now really excited to start doing it again now as I've finished college for the summer and have more spare time!
So... a couple of weekends ago i went to see 5 Seconds Of Summer at Wembley Arena on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June! I can honestly say it was in my top 3 best shows i've ever been to in my life and i'm not just saying that because they're one of my favourite bands... I'm going to tell you all about it and give you my review of the show ♥

Saturday 13th June 15

This was the 2nd date of the tour at Wembley for 5SOS but my first date. My seats were in block S9 and row S and they were a lot better than i thought they would be! I got into the venue half way through Hey Violet and they were actually really good and i enjoyed listening to them and have listened to some of their music since. They did a few of their own songs and also an amazing cover of Blank Space by Taylor Swift. Then it was time for 5SOS, they played tunes like Stacy's Mom and Teenage Dirtbag to get everyone pumped! They started with one of my favourite songs on the album "End Up Here" my fave part is ashtons singing near the end! It had the most incredible atmosphere ever, listening to everyone singing every single lyric back and during Amnesia the arena was fully lit up and it looked beautiful. They are one of the best live bands i've ever seen and their energy is amazing. They really interacted with the crowd going from one side of the stage to the other and getting every part of the arena involved which i love. Everyone was singing and dancing throughout every part of the gig and 5SOS looked so happy on stage. You can tell that they really love what they do and they put every part of their soul into their shows and it really shows. But during the end when they were singing She Looks So Perfect, Michael caught his hair/face a light on the Piro Technics and ran straight off stage (no one around me including me didn't even notice) Ashton came on stage after SLSP had finished and apologized and said that they couldn't carry on the end of the show because he had been really hurt, everyone was so shocked but worried for Mikey as he had properly burned himself! Aside from that... my favourite songs they sung live (so hard to choose because everyone was unreal) End Up Here, Heartbreak Girl, Rejects (they got someone up on stage during this song to play the guitar which was amazing!), Amnesia, Everything I Didn't Say and American Idiot (Green Day Cover). I will insert some photographs below here from their gig...

Sunday 14th June

This has nothing to do with 5SOS but before the show, i went and saw Marvin Humes (one of my faves who i've loved for a long time) so we popped into Leicester Square to see him first and grab some food and then headed to Wembley (i'll insert a photo here).

We chilled in Wembley for a bit and then made our way into the venue, we were sitting on the floor tonight in Block B2 a couple of rows from the back. I was really happy because i would finally be able to hear the encore which include two of my favourite songs. I think it was really good of the guys to carry on playing the final night, considering what happened the previous night and you can tell that everyone appreciated that. I personally thought the crowd were better on the final night, the atmosphere on the floor seemed a lot better probably because i was sitting closer and you could see more of the crowd and see everyone having the time of their lives. My favourites were the same as the previous night but included Good Girls and What I Like About You. I absolutely LOVE their cover of WILAY because its so full of energy and it was the perfect song to finish off i think. Ashton's drumming in it as well is incredible as always. It felt really special to be apart of their last date in the UK/Europe as they were heading to Australia next! They absolutely smashed their last show and their family were there too which makes it feel even more sentimental and makes you think how far they have come. During WILAY we were fully going for it bringing out the air guitars/drums it was hilarious and i loved every minute of that night. I will never forget that weekend, one of the best weekends ever and i was so sad walking out the arena and just going back home because i didn't want it to be over! If you've never seen them live then you need to make sure you do because its so full of energy, singing, rocking out and they do what they do SO incredibly well and it shows how much they love what they do. Until the next tour time !!!!!

Hope you have enjoyed reading about my 5SOS weekend in London and if you went make sure you tell me below what you thought of the show and if you haven't seen them, does my blog post make you want to go?!

Family Sundays... ♡

Sea Life Centre, Seafront & Family Dinner out

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog, i recently went out for a lovely family day with my Mum, Dad, Sister, Brother in law and my beautiful neice. We went to Southend & for a lovely meal out afterwards. As always I took lots of photos and thought I would share them with you! I hope you enjoy looking at them and reading about my day, feel free to comment below what you enjoy doing on sundays & what things you do with your family x

"Every family is beautiful but ours is my favourite"

♡ Sea Life Centre

It was the first time I had visited the Sea Life Centre (but my sister & brother in law had visited quite a few times with my neice) and i had such an enjoyable time. Its so lovely to have a day where you can just relax and go out with family without having to worry about doing work or having to get things done. It's doesn't happen all the time that you get to spend a whole day with family, doing something really nice all together because of work, school and college etc. It was so lovely to see my neice react to seeing all the different types of fish & seeing her face light up by watching them. She's such a special little thing and i love spending time with her so much. Here are some photographs i took inside the sea life centre.

V Festival 2015 Line Up Announcement & Throwback Thursday... ♡

V Festival 2015 Line Up announced & throwback to V Festival 2014... ♡

Hollaaaaaa!
So seeing as the V Festival lineup was announced on Monday night and its also thursday today, i thought i would do a blog post about the line up and also share with you my V Fest experience from last year @ Chelmsford, Hylands Park! #ThrowbackThursday

I think the lineup is so good this year and i'm so happy with it but i've heard so many people say they hate it but everyone likes different things & people are always going to complain no matter who is on the lineup! Although the one thing I would say is that for the "20th Anniversary of V Festival" being posted everywhere on their facebook and twitter etc, they could have made it better in order to celebrate that but i think its amazing. Last year it was my first year and it was incredible, i did the whole weekend but no camping and it was around £170/£180 and its so worth it! The atmosphere is insane, the acts are amazing & the overall experience is a must. This year i'm going to camp for the weekend and i'm so excited! Tickets are on sale tommorow from 9am and you can find all details on ticket info, travel, lineup, safety etc on the website here http://www.vfestival.com/
