2 Days in London | Canal Boat, Camden, Breakfast Club & Meeting Jim Chapman ❤

Hello Everyone! Welcome back to my blog, today i'm going to be blogging about my recent couple of trips to London where i visited various places over London and met Jim Chapman, all exciting! So grab a drink, relax and read this sunday's blog post ♥

Wednesday 12th August //

So on Wednesday i went to Little Venice for a canal boat ride to Camden Lock. I got the tube to Warwick Avenue and then we made our way to the canal, it was £8.30 each for a single there and it was a 50 minute journey which i think is really well priced considering the journey itself. It was incredibly beautiful nd it was such a sunny day as well which made it better. We went through Regents Canal and by London Zoo and then into Camden Lock. It was such a cool experience seeing all the boats along the canal and the incredible houses that were along the canal too. I'll insert some photographs here of the beautiful views! http://londonwaterbus.co.uk/

We then got off the boat at Camden Lock and walked around Camden for a little while, i wanted to pick up a pair of sunglasses from Camden Market as they do super cheap and nice ones. We walked around the food stalls and i picked up a freshly squeezed lemonade which was lush! The food stalls in Camden are amazing, there is so much to offer.

the sunglasses i picked up in Camden <3

We then hopped on the underground to go get some lunch and we got off at Angel and headed to The Breakfast Club. It's one of my fave places to eat in London, they're so quirky, the service is brill and the food is UNREAL. I was a bit naughty and had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and a latte. It was so incredible but i literally could not eat it all, they were so filling! I highly recommend the BB club because it's amazing and not expensive either for what you get! It has such a cool vibe to it as well.  http://www.thebreakfastclubcafes.com/

We then walked around Islington for a bit and then chilled out at a pub along Islington High St called The York and had a glass of wine (classy af lol) and then made our way home!

Thursday 13th August //

On Thursday i went to meet Jim Chapman (very very famous youtuber if you don't know then bye lol) and i went to his signing/meet and greet at Waterstones Piccadilly London where around 300 subscribers attended! He had previously signed his notebook from his stationary collection "James and Friends" (which is amazing btw) so everyone had time to have a chat and also take a photograph. It was incredibly well organised and we only had to wait for an hour to get in and meet him. I was so excited to meet him as i haven't met him before and have been wanting to meet him for a really long time. When we got in the que we got given a little leaflet with all the details of the meet and greet & then a guy came round to scan our tickets and give us wristbands.

We then went into Waterstones and we got given the notebook as we went into the signing room and then we qued up to meet him. It was finally my que to meet Jim and he was SO SO lovely. He gave me a hug and said hello and asked how i was, he also asked my name as well which i thought was cute. We then took a good old selfie which i'll of course insert below! He was so lovely as i expected and a lot taller than i thought as well!

And now i'll add a couple of my touristy photos! Couldn't help snapping in Piccadilly Circus...

I hope you enjoyed this weeks blog post about my 2 day trip to London, i will see you next wednesday with my festival essentials post!

July Favourites | ❤

Hello Everyone and Welcome back to my blog!
Jeeeeeeeeeez where the heck did July go?! Well we're one week into August and it feels crazy to say that but today i'm talking through my July Favourites with you. They range from clothing to beauty to makeup to music as well! I have a good old mixture to share with you today. Be sure to comment below what your favourites of this month have been too. Hope you enjoy x

So as i'm sure many of you know, Zoella released her 2nd lot of Beauty bits at Superdrug this month and lets just say it is all pretty blooming amazing! The packaging to start with is just utterly beautiful and it's all so affordable. I purchased the Bath Fizzers which are fantastic, they smell amazing and go beautifully in the bath. I purchased the Candy Cream Softening Body Lotion which is AMAZING, it has little pink beads inside the lotion too and it has acai in it which is great for the skin which i love! It sinks into the skin so easily and beautifully, i am in love love love. The whole range just smells like summer to me. Lastly i purchased the Let's Spritz Fragranced Body Mist which just smells like heaven in a bottle. Its unreal, its the perfect summer body mist to spritz (pardon the pun) when you're going to the beach or out with friends/family in the sun. I just love this whole range and i think Zoe has done so well with coming up with these products, they are so amazing and so affordable. Basically i just love Zoe and this whole entire range of beauty items! Go get them here >>

(she also liked my instagram photo of the products which led me getting spammed with likes for the next 3 days, thanks zoe!!!!!)

So i bought this at the end of June and absolutely loved it since. I apply it day and night to a wet face and then remove with a wet flannel and it leaves my skin feeling so refreshed and clean. It has pink beads in it which also help to exfoliate the skin which is always a bonus! I love it and it's lasted ages as well, i still have loads of it left and it's only around £6 too which i think is fantastic for the quality of the product. I use this after i have cleansed my skin with the Garnier Micellar Water and it leaves my skin feeling so regenerated and clean, honestly in love with this product.

So i recently went to IMATS London and i knew this was one item i really wanted to get my hands on as it was hyped about on You Tube and Blog's lots and i felt like i needed it in my life. So i headed over to the counter, found my shade and picked it up. It was also half the price it normally is which was great because we all love a discount! It's very high coverage and it is thick so if you don't like full coverage then i wouldn't recommend it for you but for me i like full coverage so for me this is incredible. It just blends so well considering it's thick and the finish is just beautiful, i absoloutely am in love with it. It's the best concealer i have ever tried and i've tried Mac, Nars and Urban Decay! It lasts all day and doesn't crease under my eye either, it makes my makeup look 50 times better when i use it! THANKYOU MAKEUP FOREVER! Also Debenhams have started stocking Make Up Forever, how exciting!!

4. Nanshy Flawless Foundation Brush http://nanshy.com/product/flawless-foundation-f02/

I also purchased this at IMATS London, i wasn't planning on getting any Nanshy Brushes but i did pick up 2 in the end, one being this flawless foundation brush. I had heard Emily Canham (imhereforever) talk about this brush and use it so i knew i wasn't going to be disappointed and i really wasn't. It's my favourite foundation i have tried so far and i've tried Real Techniques and Zoeva. It does exactly what it says "flawless foundation" it buffs onto the skin so beautifully and leaves your foundation looking beautiful and flawless! I apply my foundation all over my face and then stipple the brush and buff at the same time onto my skin and it just applies amazingly! I am so so happy i purchased this brush, i can't wait to try more Nanshy brushes in the future as this makes me want  to buy them all! They're all so in expensive as well which is such a bonus.

So i was on the hunt for a new mascara as my Too Faced Better Than Sex was running out and i didn't feel like it was good enough to re purchase. I saw lots of people on You Tube and Blogs talking about this mascara and i thought i should give it a try! I'm so glad i did because it's honestly brilliant. I think i even prefer it to the too faced one and its a 1/4 of the price! I think Maybelline have always had fantastic mascaras and this one if my favourite. It gives your lashes such volume and length both at the same time. Definitely going to re purchase this product when it runs out! Maybelline you do not disappoint...

6. Nars Sheer Glow Foundation http://narscosmetics.co.uk/en_GB/foundation

So i was running out of my Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation but wasn't 100% happy with how it was looking on my skin, i thought it looked quite cakey at certain times of the day and wanted to look for something else than pay another £30 for something i wasn't entirely happy with so i searched around and i had wanted to try Nars Sheer Glow for SO long but i don't have a counter anywhere near me apart from London and i can't just make a trip to get matched up to a foundation haha, so i just took a chance and looked up swatches and matched to my skin and hoped for the best! I got the match spot on thank god, i'm in the shade Mont Blanc and its the best foundation i have tried so far. It blends so well and leaves my skin flawless. It's beautiful coverage because it's high coverage but doesn't look or feel very high coverage it just leaves your skin looking flawless and beautiful and that is all i ask for in foundation! oh and that it also lasts which is lasts all day for me, it's such a fantastic foundation. Although it is pretty pricey for a foundation, it's so worth it for me because i find that if i use a rubbish foundation underneath all the beautiful products i put on top, it doesn't look great at all! Nars u da best

So i purchased this beautiful denim jacket about mid way into July and have worn it at every opportunity, i am in love with it so much. I love the vintage style of it and it reminds me of the 90's look which i LOVE. It's a Levi's jacket as well which has been "Urban Renewed" as they call it on Urban Outfitters. You can wear it with pretty much everything and it adds such edge to an outfit, i'm just very much in love with this jacket and won't be taking it off any time soon!

So i bought this shoes when i went to Liverpool, i was shopping around and went in Office and came across these. I knew they were in as i had seen people previously wearing them around and i tried them on and fell in love. They are SO SO SO comfy and easy to just slip on and go everywhere in. I wear them all the time and want to be the holographic pair too! If you want some comfy cheap shoes to go out in all the time and want great quality then you have them!!

9. Kimonos

I haven't stopped wearing kimonos throughout July! I absolutely love them and i'm obsessed. I have bought them from various places such as Asos, New Look & Missguided. I think they add such a summer look to an outfit and i especially love the kimonos i have with the tassels on as well. They're such a vital summer piece & i love wearing them. I'll add photographs of all my kimonos that i have been loving and wearing throughout July.

10. You Tubers - Lucy and Lydia

So as always i'm watching lots and lots of You Tubers but every month i always have a couple of favourite channels which have uploaded fantastic content that i have really enjoyed that month and every month in this case. I was sat on my laptop about midnight the other week and i just binge watched a load of Lucy and Lydia's videos (i had already watched them all before) and i just couldn't stop clicking on the next loading video, they are full of such energy and happiness and the content they produce is incredible! I also think they deserve a lot more subscribers than they have so if you haven't subscribed to them make sure you do because they are amazing. They do celebrity style tutorials, lots of really entertaining vlogs, style videos... just to name a few! They are incredible and so down to earth too!

11. Barry M - Nail Varnish in Sugar Plum https://www.barrym.com/product/Gelly-Hi-Shine

My next favourite is a pink Barry M Gelly nail varnish i have worn throughout the whole of July. It's such a summer colour and i have just loved wearing this colour on my nails this month. I am such a huge fan of the Barry M Gelly nail varnishes because they are long wearing and don't take long to dry either, they are also in expensive too.

12. Music

I have had so many music favourites this month as always and it was so hard to choose songs to pick to put in my favourites as i've loved so many but i will get started on my top favourite songs of July. 1) 5 Seconds Of Summer - Shes Kinda Hot // this has been my absoloute anthem this month, i'm in love with it and the first time i heard it i thought it was quite different but jesus it's so bloody good. It's such a feel good song and the video is AMAZING. Every part of the song is incredible & it gives a proper rock vibe. Ashton's solo is my fave bit of course.

2) Nothing But Thieves - Trip Switch // This alternative rock band come from Essex (where i'm from woop) and they are literally such a great band who create some of my favourite songs ever. This song gets played on Radio 1 ALL the time and i'm obsessed with it. Its bloody amazing, go listen to it now.

3) Neck Deep - Can't Kick Up The Roots // this song is literally insane. I am obsessed with it, its such a feel good tune and it's proper rock I LAVE IT!!!!! literally knew all the words within 3 times of listening to it

4) Calvin Harris - How Deep Is Your Love // Calvin is my absoloute fave and this song did NOT disappoint. It's a colab with Disciples and it's such a good song. The female vocalist has such a beautiful voice and as always it has such a feel good beat. Summer anthem

5) My last favourite song is Black Magic - Little Mix // I'm not going to lie, Little Mix are my absoloute guilty pleasure and this song is SO SO good. Literally the catchiest song ever, the first time i heard it i knew it would go to number one and it is on it's 3rd week at the top. The chorus is so catchy and all of their voices sound so beautiful.

So that's all my July favourites complete! I hope you enjoyed reading about my favourite things this month, be sure to let me know what your favourites of this month are and i will see you next Wednesday with my new blog post...
