Top 10 Favourite Things to do in London | PART TWO ♡

Hello Everyone!

Welcome back to my blog, i hope you're having a lovely Sunday. Today i'm going to be doing Part 2 of my Favourite Things To Do in London! I hope you enjoyed my first part but if you didn't get a chance to look at Part One it's right here >>
I hope you enjoy and be sure to comment your views and where you love to go in London x

6. CAMDEN & BRICK LANE

I've put these two together to talk about, because i think they're quite similar! I love Camden so much because it has a fantastic market, shops and love the edgyness (not even a word) of it. I also love how out going and unique everything and every one is there too. Camden Town is the nearest tube station to it and its on the northern line so pretty easy to get to. Camden has a market which sells really great, cheap products which are mostly clothes and jewellery but they also have walk in/out shops which sell tourist type things, shoes, clothes (once again), and phone cases etc. Camden also has a beautiful river/canal type thing where you can walk a long. There is a Starbucks right next to it so last time i went, we bought a hot drink and sat by the canal and it was beautiful! Camden is very punk and unique which is why i love it! Theres quite a few pubs around there too as well as random shops such as Superdrug and Urban Outfitters (the camden one is SO good). Camden is just in general a really lovely place for a spot of shopping, a bite to eat and for taking some great photos. Moving onto Brick Lane, i visited for the first time around a month ago and loved it. I didn't spend too much time there as we went off to other places as well but the time i did spend there was so good. I visited the Cereal Killer cafĂ© which i mentioned in part one on the food section and that is SO quirky and just amazing. I also went into Rough Trade which is a record shop which i fell in love with and made me want to buy a record player even more. They literally did everything in there and they also had a photobooth! There was a little cafe opposite Rough Trade which looked really nice that i want to go in next but i can't remember the name of it now! There's also a lot of graffiti on Brick Lane and it's incredible so i took some photos by it as i find graffiti so inspiring and amazing. Brick Lane is also known for it's vintage clothing so there's quite a few vintage clothing stores there too.

7. Trafalgar Square/Leicester Square ♡

I put these two together because they are so near each other! Trafalgar Square is such a beautiful tourist attraction, i love it. It's situated in the city of Westminster and the nearest tube station is Charing Cross. It has street performers, performing statues, people dressed up and water fountains. I went there last year for a singer called Mike Hough, he did a meet up with one of my favourite youtubers & bloggers Gracie Francesca (Ugly Face of Beauty) and he also busked which was so good! I've also been there quite a few times just for looking around and taking some photos. The water fountains are so beautiful! Leicester Square is literally a 5 minute from Trafalgar Square and that is where M&M World is, all the famous film premieres are held (it has a massive odeon and empire), Capital Radio is & there's lots of restaurants there too. There is always someone drawing caricatures of people as well along there which i love. M&M World is craaaazy, they literally do every possible m&m flavour possible, it's so colourful in there and they do lots of merchandise in there as well. Odeon Cinema is great for attending a premiere where it gets majorly busy but you can also just go there to watch a film. There's a casino there as well with restaurants such as Pizza Hut, Bella Italia, Chiquito, China City, Wagamama's and The Slug and Lettuce. There is also a candy shop behind capital radio which sells loads of american candy and uk candy too which is really good! Leicester Square also has a beautiful fountain statue as well and has loads of seats to chill for a little while which is great.

8. PICCADILLY CIRCUS/KNIGHTSBRIDGE

I put these two together because they are both on the Piccadilly Line and i didn't have enough to talk about them, to put them separately. Picadilly Circus is right by Oxford Circus, Regent Street and Leicester Square so it's really easy and central to get to. I love going to Piccadilly Circus because of the massive billboard screen that they have which looks so amazing as there is always different adverts on there and it's great to take photographs of. I also went to the Queen's Theatre which is in Piccadilly Circus, when i went to see Les Miserables! (which was the best thing ever). There's loads of restaurants and coffee shops/pubs around Piccadilly circus as well. I've also been to the Soho Hotel for a couple of events which is in Piccadilly Circus, and it is beautiful! It has a function rooms, a bar and cinema rooms as well. Knightsbridge is also a beautiful place in London, it has Harrods which is just insane. If you ever come to London, then Harrods is essential. It's mega mega expensive but it's just nice to look at and admire lol! The food hall is amazing there too, they have the best cupcakes as well! They have everything from pets to food to clothes to make up to bags to shoes and basically everything! I remember looking at the little Yorkshire Terriers and we bumped into Gary Linekar lol. Harrods looks so beautiful lit up at night as well, as it has loads of lights and it makes the whole thing stand out. They also have an amazing Space NK, Starbucks and Ted Baker.

9. CONCERTS/GIGS/FESTIVALS

One of my most favourite things to do in London is go to concerts/gigs because 1. That's the nearest place to me where artists tour etc and 2. I love the venues in London. I have been to Wembley Stadium & Arena, Brixton Academy, Hammersmith Apollo, 02 Arena, Earls Court and probably more which i can't remember! I've been to see Summertime Ball and One Direction at Wembley Stadium and that by far has the best atmosphere ever, 85,000 people in the stadium all singing a long was such an incredible thing to experience, especially when i was front row for Summertime Ball. It felt so weird being the front of 85,000 people! 02 is my next favourite venue, because it's huge and there is so much to do there (restaurants, cinema, bowling, sky bar, bars). The only problem i have with the 02 is the height of Level 4 seating, it's fricking scary being up there. Now i'm used to it but everytime i'm up there i still have the thought of falling lol! I enjoy going to gigs so much and i feel like whenever artists come to London, it's so much more special than anywhere else because it's the capital and everything happens in London so artists get excited to play in London venues as iconic as wembley stadium. I probably go to about 10 gigs/festivals a year (so bad). I went to Brixton for the first time in January and that is such a lovely venue, it's small and intimate which is what i love. I don't think anything beats the feeling of seeing your favourite band or artist live.

10. HYDE PARK

Hyde Park is so so beautiful and essential to visit in the summer in London. It's maaaaaasive, it has so many pretty flowers, statues and places to just sit and chill in the summer. It's perfect to take a picnic down there with your family or friends and just relax when it's super hot in the summer! It's really love to walk around as well. It's at the end of Oxford Street and on the Picadilly Line!

I hope you enjoyed reading all about my favourite places to go in London and hopefully it will give you some inspiration! I know there are so many places yet in London for me to visit to be sure to let me know where you love to go where i haven't mentioned! I will see you on Thursday with another exciting blog post... stay tuned! Hope you have a wonderful evening xxxx
