James Bay Chaos & The Calm Tour at Brixton Academy 30/09/2015 ❤

Hello Everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today's post is another concert review/experience and today it's James Bay's Chaos and The Calm Tour. I went to see him on his first London date at Brixton Academy for the Chaos and The Calm Tour.

Setlist =

Need The Sun To Break
Running

Move Together
Scars
Best Fake Smile
Get Out While You Can
Incomplete

Hold Back The River

We got to the venue around 6:55pm and doors opened at 7pm, but considering the time we got there we had such a brilliant view.So we listened to the 2 support acts that they had, the first one was Samm Henshaw who was really good and then the 2nd act as Elle King who was incredible, her voice was beautiful and her interaction with the crowd was so so good. She was bloody hilarious as well!I will link both singers here >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8kDjlVKCJU and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uLI6BnVh6w

It was then time for JAMES BAY ♥ He came on about 9:20pm and finished about 10:45pm. It was honestly one the best gigs i've ever been to in my whole entire life! I was so bloody excited for it and to hear the full Chaos and The Calm album live. I just am in love with the way James Bay performs and puts so much passion and love into every single show and song. He kept looking at the crowd after every few songs and you could tell how over whelmed he was that we had all come for him and that he had sold out 3 lots of the venue. His band were also incredible as well, he had 2 guitarists, drummer and piano player as well, James also played the guitar as always.

The crowd were also incredible, it was such a mixed audience which i love. Everyone was singing along to every word and having such a brilliant time. He did a cover torwards the end of his set of The Faces "I'm Losing You" and brought Ronnie Wood on stage to play guitar which was incredible! He was a member of The Faces and also The Rolling Stones, it was such a big moment! He sang a song which isn't on his album but on the deluxe version called "Running" i was legit praying he was going to sing this bc it's one of my favourite songs ever and when i saw it on his set list, i was so so happy. I don't think he was expecting people to know all the words but majority of Brixton Academy knew every single word!

My favourite songs of the whole set list were Collide, Hold Back The River, Running,If You Ever Wanna Be In Love & Best Fake Smile. It was such an incredible night, if you are really into singer song writers like Sam Smith and George Ezra, you will love James Bay live. Its made me so tempted to buy tickets to his Hammersmith Apollo 3 night residency next year because i already want to see him again! He lived up to my expectations and beyond. He's such a genuine guy as well and really deserves the success he has had so far in his career, i'm so in love ♥ I now also can't wait until he brings out his 2nd album!

I bought this wristband from the merch stand as well!
